Russia’s reaction has proven efficiency of my visit to Lithuania and participation in the Conference of Parliamentary Speakers of European countries. A wave of dirt from trolls controlled by the Russian government and a similar statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia is another evidence of this.
When Russian diplomatic department “is mastering” phraseologisms about cynicism, Russian mercenaries and military men, using Russian weapons, keep killing people, ruining cities and infrastructure in Ukraine.
Neither Ukraine nor the world has illusions as to the so-called Russian “humanitarian assistance”. Everybody understands that it is just an informational means for distracting attention from bringing Russian military equipment into the territory of Ukraine to support terrorism. When the society discusses half-empty “humanitarian trucks”, tanks, armoured vehicles, volley fire systems and air defence systems are entering Ukraine.
It is obvious that the situation in the East is not a Ukrainian conflict. It is a hybrid war which Russia has started against Ukraine, a war involving Russian special services and army. Russia is doing everything possible to continue this war by sending its military just when Ukrainian army was so close to the victory.
I want to remind Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which no one can compete in cynicism with, a well-know Biblical fact “All who draw the sword will die by the sword” (Matthew 26:52). The war, started by Russia against Ukraine, will turn to a huge problem in Russia. Sooner or later “the propagandistic frenzy” will go away and Russians will realize that the war against Ukrainians was necessary only to distract attention from the crisis in Russia where a totalitarian curtain is being hysterically restored in order to isolate its citizens from democratic and civilized values, depriving them of any chances for development and for a decent life.
